First you will need the following ingredients:

1/4 cup of popping corn (generally $0.99 for a pound bag. This is enough to make at least 50 bags of microwave corn)
1 Teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
To taste – popcorn salt (it has finer granules than table salt with the same taste)

Microwave Popcorn: Home made, cheap and easy

That is convenient if you are in the office and without a stove. If you are at home, the old school method is even cheaper. Just toss the oil and popping corn into a pot and slowly warm until the popping stops.
