There are thousands of people sporting new gadgets and equipment these days. Whether it's a digital camera that you received as a holiday gift or the iPhone you splurged on a few months ago, there is always a risk of losing it.
Long ago, this wasn't a very large problem. I mean how are you going to simply loose your Polaroid Camera? Sure, most people are obsessively careful with their gadgets and phones but in a world clutter and minuscule devices, it's actually pretty simple for the iPod to slip out of your pocket.
When someone finds your camera or iPod, how can they return it to you (assuming they want to)? Did you put your contact information on it with a label maker or a Sharpie? Probably not.
Well, now you can do what large corporations do with their laptops. You can register your gadget, camera or phone and place a coded tag on it so it so you can be notified if and when someone finds it. The company is named StuffBak and several tests (from the likes of CNBC and USA Today) showed very favorable results. Here is a sample of a "tag".
For the small cost of their tags, it's something to at least consider.
