When most people decide they want to work online they do so to get out of their day job. With all the perks, I guess the catch-22 is that working from home isn't much different from the job you're currently working.

If you’re tied to your home office as brutally as you were tied to your day job, it might be a bit more convenient because you can work in your jammies, but it’s still miserable.

Figure out what you’ll do if you are terribly sick and can’t even crawl to your computer for two weeks. If your spouse is hospitalized and you spend a month by their side.

Heck, if you want to take a 4-day weekend vacation to the coast - how will you handle it?

There is some great food for thought here. Many people assume things to come easily when you switch to working from home, no matter which industry you choose. It's important to know how to deal with those things that you may take for granted at a 'day job'.
