The great thing about getting into the GTD system is the plethora of material and advice available. All ranging from simple beginner steps to advanced techniques, you can find just about the right point to get you over any given hurdle.
Mike St. Pierre got hold of 9 well known GTDers and had them to share a quick tip each. Merlin expresses the idea of collating everything while Leo talks about processes and creating habits.
They're quick but fundamental.
Making Your System Portable / Kelly Forrister
If you don't have a way to sync your lists to a handheld (Palm, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile device) then print them on a regular basis. Downloading stuff from your brain only works if you can access the lists you need, when you need them. Having your lists with you will also give you more chances to take advantage of weird windows of time for adding to your lists as well.
This is an important element of GTD, in my opinion. The system is pretty much useless if you can't access it, at least an 'inbox', at any time. What are your thoughts?
