At some point my work schedule got out of control and I lost the ability to write about sites that would really help a lot of people. Many of you noticed that my "Speed Link" section on DLM (rss) attempted to band-aid that problem, but it just isn't the same. Fortunately, the tides are turning a little and I should have some more time to get back into the true DLM format.
For starters, I want to direct you to a site that I have mentioned before. It's the OEDB. For those that haven't seen this site, it's the Online Education Database and it's a site that I hit pretty often. They don't have a visible RSS feed unfortunately but aside from that their information is solid.
What I wanted to highlight tonight is this article, "Take Any College Class for Free: 236 Open Courseware Collections, Podcasts, and Videos"
It's a treasure chest of sites for you to review. If you are an aspiring autodidact, have fun. Instead of listing samples, here are the section headings:
Archives | Broadcast Learning | Directories & Searches | eBooks & eTexts | Encyclopedias | Open Courseware - University | Open Courseware | Podcasts - University | Podcasts - Other | Research | Videos - Universities | Videos - Other | Video Directories & Searches
If you want to simply view the entire list, visit Take Any College Class for Free: 236 Open Courseware Collections, Podcasts, and Videos.
