Each week iTunes has a handful of freebies for you to download and enjoy. They could be songs, episodes from TV, etc. So, that's not bad - I don't argue with free.
However, remembering to check this each week is a little irritating. You have to log into iTunes and find this free section on your own (on the menu: store>home>scroll all the way down, look middle) or you can hit up a blog named Free iTunes Downloads.
These guys essentially explain all of the free stuff each week and provide the info on a blog...with a feed. So instead of having to remember to check out iTunes, let your feed reader remind you!
