Dumb Little Man | Tips for Life

To date we have featured dozens of sites that will help make your life a little easier. Each week, I receive 5-10 emails from companies asking me to write about them. These requests are all an attempt to get in front of YOU, our faithful readers.

When I receive these requests, I do indeed tell you about the service or site if I think it makes sense based on the direction of Dumb Little Man and primarily and your interests. To date, I have never been paid to write a blog post (aside from the ads you see on the site).

This brings me to my point. Recently a company offered to compensate me in return for a Dumb Little Man review of their service. I truly believe their service is very good, it's something I would use myself, and it's something that many of you would see value in.

So here is your chance to dictate Dumb Little Man policy. You guys are essentially my Board of Directors so:

If a company was going to pay Dumb Little Man to write a review on their service AND I thought it made sense to tell you about it, should I:
	Tell us about the service, but refuse payment
	Take the payment and write the review. Just be sure to tell us you were paid so we know
	Do it and I will never visit your site again
	I don't care, I'd visit Dumb Little Man no matter what you guys do

This is your call. If you'd prefer that Dumb Little Man stay away from these offers, we will. If you don't care, then we'll use the money to help pay for another writer while Jay is away.
