If I say IRA and you think of the Irish Republican Army, you need some work.
Get Rich Slowly just started a 3-part series on something that you MUST learn. I will admit that I am not the best guy to talk to when it comes to hard core finance but I do know that an IRA is something that will reduce your annual tax burden and is relatively flexible as far as investment options.
Before you are turned off by this "finance stuff", know that J.D. at Get Rich Slowly tells it like it is and he explains things in terms that even I can understand. In fact, someone on his site left this comment:
