We all know how important our credit scores are so I will spare you from the agony of a long dissertation. However, it seems odd that a number so important can only be obtained by paying company to give it to you. Sure, you can run credit reports for free but you don’t get to see your FICO rating unless you cough up some money.
For those curious about their actual FICO score, you could try out the Bank Rate FICO estimator.I know it’s accurate because I did pay for my score a while back and a test of the estimator this morning proved to be dead-on.
Not a bad way to save $15.00 because that’s what I paid to actually get my score.
