Feeling tired is a constant problem of mine. I know that ultimately I have to kill some PC time and hit the gym a little more but that's something I'll struggle with in private. I mean, do you really care? Didn't think so.

You may however care to know of some other ways to keep motivated and awake throughout your day (oh, if you eat a triple cheeseburger at lunch and then complain of being sleepy, you are not going to learn much here.)


  • Leave your curtains open
  • Wake up naturally
  • Take cold showers
  • Suck a mint
  • Breathe deeply
  • Rub your wrists and neck
  • Pick up the papers
  • Put a plant on your desk
  • Guzzle water
  • Have sex
  • Sing aloud
  • Have a boiled egg for breakfast
  • Don’t forget your morning cuppa
  • Don’t rely on energy drinks
  • Clean your windows
