Kitchen Hacks: Home Remedies Using your Pantry

You could site at the Kitchen Medicine site for hours. The author, Kelly Joyce Neff, has 40 different articles all pertaining to little tricks that you can do in the kitchen. I happen to like this one because it helps save money.

In Home cures you can make with what's in your kitchen she lists out 30+ ailments you can cure simply digging up some ingredients that are probably in your kitchen.


Here are a couple:

  • Burned tongue: Put sugar on it.

  • Chafed skin: Gently pat a raw slice of potato over irritated nose, forehead, cheeks and chin. Rinse with cool water to close pores.

  • Cough: Roast a lemon or an onion until it breaks open, mix a teaspoon of warm lemon or onion juice with half a teaspoon of raw honey, and take every half hour until the cough goes away.

  • Dandruff: Pour on the apple cider vinegar!

  • Sunburn: Empty a large jar of Nestea into your bath water.
