There are several sites around where users may submit questions and get answers from "experts". I am quite sure you have heard of Yahoo Answers, Wondir, or Google Answers.
Today a new site has moved out of testing and is available to the general public for free. Yedda, based in Israel, is similar in several respects. You submit a question and it gets sent to the knowledge center (my term) for an expert to answer.
The advantage Yedda has is expert tagging. This means that experts can tag themselves with keywords based on the topic of their expertise. Therefore, they are not blasted with a ton of questions and subsequently immune to the requests. I have to think that this will aid in response time.
Here is Yedda's definition of Yedda:
Imagine you could connect with someone who knows the answers to your questions, on any topic, at any time.
At Yedda we strive to merge the convenience and efficiency of search with the unlimited value of individual knowledge to get you the best answers to your questions.
We believe that every person is multi-faceted. A unique combination of professional history, personal experience, acquired hobbies and pursued interests nurture the uniqueness in every one of us. That unique individuality is an invaluable resource when shared.

Thanks for the post, I am glad you like our approach to distributing questions. Another thing to note is that Yedda will continue to seek the relevant people to invite to answer your question, keeping it fresh for as long as you need.
May I ask what is your Yedda username?
