This last week in Chicago we had 4 consecutive days of 95+ degree heat. While I am cringing at the thought of receiving my next batch of utility bills, I did a little research and found a very cool .gov site that gives you with specific ways to cut down on your utility costs.
It's not a top ten list or anything like that, you actually enter information about your home such as appliances, # of windows, square footage, etc., and it provides you with an extremely accurate estimate on your current bills and how to cut them.
